Tatenda Mandaza a.k.a Dj Tendaness is one young explosive hip hop force that has taken the Swazi dj scene by storm. He developed a love for music from a very young age attending dj gigs each time he went to visit his uncle in South Africa, who was a Sound Engineer. He started off in 2006 using virtual dj and was a bedroom dj for 2 years. His first gig was in early 2008 at a School Disco and at this time he was still djing virtually. A bit later in 2008, he was taught how to use CDJS by his friends: Djs Fernando Alonso from South America and B-52 from Swaziland (212 Soul) who were his school mates at the time. He has not looked back eversince.

After gaining more confidence in using CDJs he began submittingmixes to a raidioshow known as Powerful Spinouts which airs on Fridays and Saturday nights from 10-11 pm on SBIS2 FM hosted by Bobo. He also played at various house parties for exposure and also at Headcount, a Hip Hop Show hosted by famous Swazi rapper K.R.T.C. He was resident dj at this show for a couple of months.

After being discovered by a member of the Swaziboy Entertainment Stable at a party, he was offered a chance to play on the on the Swaziboy Rockers House Sessions from 2-4pm every Saturday on SBIS2 Fm. After some time he was then offered a chance to play at Cafe de Flore, Manzini Swaziland at DJ Tempt's Birthday party in late 2009. Soon after this performance he became a member of the Swaziboy Entertainment Stable. He has not looked back eversince.

Tendaness has played at many gigs alongside many local Swazi and South African and International DJs like Abicah Soul. One of his most memorable gigs was the Channel O 24 Hour party organized by Swaziboy Entertainment and Katsitis Music. The show had over 20 local and International DJs and performers..
